Jim is both a Luxury Real Estate Expert and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) serving the Naples, Bonita and Estero areas. With over 35 years of experience in both the luxury residential and commercial real estate markets, Jim has been instrumental in completing over 1 billion dollars in real estate transactions. He is well-respected by his peers and has consistently been recognized as a company top-performer. Most recently, Jim was ranked in the top 2% of over 7,000 Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR) Agents for Homes Sold in 2018.
His real estate career started after graduating Lynchburg College in 1983 with a major New Jersey commercial real estate developer, where he immersed himself in every aspect of the business, rapidly establishing himself as a highly regarded and successful commercial real estate executive specializing in marketing and leasing. In the mid-1990s, Jim formed an investment group to purchase several under-performing office buildings in Northern New Jersey and renovated and restructured them by negotiating long-term leases with multiple Fortune 500 tenants. After successfully bringing these assets to stabilization, he sold his interests in 1997, which enabled him and his wife, Jackie to relocate to Naples, FL to raise their two children and enjoy outdoor activities in the year-round warmer weather.
Both Jim and Jackie enjoy walking on the beach and appreciating the area’s nature sanctuaries as well as traveling, attending sporting events and plays, visiting museums and art galleries, trying new restaurants, playing golf, practicing yoga and participating with the many diverse groups they are active with. Jim is also a former board member of the Candlelighters of Southwest Florida, where he advocated and served on committees for golf tournaments, raising funds and awareness for local children with cancer and blood disorders.
Jackie became a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in 2003 and assists Jim with running the TRZYNA Group. Their daughter, Heather obtained her Real Estate Salesperson license in 2015 and graduated with honors from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC in 2016. She is now a Government Consultant with Deloitte Consulting in Washington, DC, and plans on pursuing her MBA. Their son, Erik graduated with honors from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in 2018 and is an avid Gator fan and fraternity brother. He obtained his Real Estate Salesperson license in 2015 and is currently working with the TRZYNA Group. Erik was accepted to the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida and will be returning to Gainesville to pursue his law degree in the fall of 2019 on a Merit Scholarship.
As a Broker Associate and founder of the TRZYNA Group, Jim continues to demonstrate his marketing talents and knowledge of the Southwest Florida real estate market, keen insight of real estate trends, negotiation expertise and dedication to providing his clients with exceptional care and service. His focus is working with both sellers and buyers of homes and condominiums throughout Southwest Florida, concentrating in golf course communities, lifestyle communities and beachfront properties, as well as numerous new communities now being built.
Recognizing the goals of real estate buyers and sellers aged 55 and older in SWFL, Jim recently earned the SRES® designation, held nationally by only 15,000 Realtors®. This designation provides him an in depth understanding of his senior clients’ lifestyle and financial needs while providing them with guidance and ensuring that their objectives will be met.
Jim’s proactive and assertive approach includes traditional marketing methods as well as internet marketing and online social media to ensure maximum exposure of each of his client’s properties.
